Dave, then of B Company (later renamed Phillips Coy/Sqn) in his Senior term -  this picture being taken outside the then Senior Term Block in Uniacke Barracks "showing off with someone else's pace stick" as he puts it!  Dave seems to have the (forbidden!) 'slashed peak' to his No. 1 Dress Hat, you'll notice, which so many of us 'arranged' .... trying to emulate our Brigade of Guards Company Sergeant Majors!  Smart turnout, nevertheless!

 Dave was our (Intake 63B, B Platoon, Recruit Company) room A/T L/Cpl when we first arrived on 30th April 1963:  by the time this photo was taken he was very near his own Graduation Parade and I had attained his old rank of A/T L/Cpl!
