Courtesy of one Pat Marley (presently residing in Melbourne, Australia) comes this photo from 1953 - CSM ('F' Coy) "Jankers" Fry, Capt "Fuzzy" Wortlehock RAEC, Matron "Doidy" Beane, Major Waite RAEC and boy Colin ('Gress') Greenbrook recognised by me! Note the "Father's Crest" worn by all boys upon each left lapel of the Battledress Blouse. |
Now then, AGAIN, to REALLY test your memories!! :

Courtesy of Pat Marley again (he's pictured above!) comes this update with all the names that many of you will surely now remember once more! Our thanks must also go to Rupert Dennison (shown above also!) who kindly lent this photograph to Pat some years ago now. Wondrous piece of history: my thanks Rupert. I certainly remember you also! It's a small world: Pat tells me he was in the same class (1G) as the likes of Peter Scarlett, Jack Hobbs, and Keith (Prof) Winter --- all of whom I certainly remember (along with [Master] Chas Connell, then [Boys] Brown, Bill Dickens, Robinson, McCluskey, Pete Spratley, Monty Siddons and (unless I'm much mistaken!) the infamous (in the nicest possible way!) 'Jack' Frost. |
